I am one of those who are of the opinion that these two teams should have been playing annually. Too bad Hayden Fry was tired of getting his butt kicked by Osborne back in the ’70′s…to the point he quit playing us year-in and year-out.
I like having Iowa for our end-of-year rivalry. It seems very natural to have the team from across the river to be our annual nemesis.
So let’s get this started on the right foot. Enough of the wallowing in our own pathetic inconsistency.
Speaking of our consistent inconsistency, after the egg laying up in Ann Arbor last week it is time to inconsistently kick some butt today.
Iowa has a nice little offense…a good passing game and one good running back. Maybe the Blackshirts get some color back this week and controls their only two play-makers.
